SAN JOSE – San Jose Sharks rookie center Macklin Celebrini left Tuesday’s game against the Utah Hockey Club at SAP Center with what was described as a lower-body injury.
Celebrini might have been shaken up in the second period after he appeared to lose an edge while skating toward the Utah net on a partial breakaway. Celebrini then slid hard into the end boards.
Celebrini remained on the Sharks bench briefly before he went to the dressing room, presumably for further evaluation.
